My/Architect first laid its roots in Islington, with our initial office opening on New North Road in 2020, before we made the move to Camden. This borough, where many of our team members reside, has become a cornerstone of our business.
Our team cherishes the borough’s local gems, starting our days with the artisanal brews at Pophams for an energising morning coffee, indulging in the lively ambiance of Upper Street’s bars and restaurants for a day out, or unwinding amidst the greenery of Highbury Fields. These activities are a testament to our deep connection with Islington, not just as a place of work, but as a source of inspiration and enjoyment.
Despite our origins in Hackney, it’s in Islington and Camden where we’ve concentrated a significant portion of our efforts, particularly over the past 2-3 years.
From kitchen extensions and loft conversions in areas like New North Road and Upper Street, to comprehensive renovations and basement extensions across the borough, we’ve been instrumental in transforming homes throughout Islington.
