My/Architect was established in East London in 2019, where our founder Harry set up shop from a flat on Hackney Road, single-handedly delivering about 10 small residential projects a year.

Harry founded the company with a firm belief that a focus on exceptional customer service above all else would generally lead to great home designs. The benefits of this approach have been twofold. Firstly, a core focus of our exceptional service has been designing projects according to a Clients budget as well as their design aspirations. Many residential architects get carried away with detail, costing more time in design and often resulting in a design that’s way over their Clients budget. We think this is a terrible service. So, all our architects are trained to consider cost as well as design, depending on a clients budget and design aspirations.

This generally means we don’t need to charge as much for our design service. Secondly, this, in turn, has led to more work in a very short space of time, meaning we’ve been able to build a fantastic network of local suppliers and contractors. These suppliers have become an indelible part of our business and the strong connections here make for a much more collaborative and cohesive project delivery.

Our residential architectural services include custom homes, home renovations, and home extensions. We specialise in delivering high-quality residential extensions that meet our clients’ unique needs and preferences.

Overall, this has resulted in a very fast-growing company, delivering dozens of very large residential projects per month, to an exceptional standard across every borough in London, from Wandsworth and Greenwich in the south to Hammersmith and Fulham and Camden in the north.
