Our founder, Harry, began his journey in Westminster nearly 20 years ago, working as an estate agent in Pimlico. He fondly remembers the palatial historic streets that first sparked his passion for architecture and design.

After establishing My/Architect in Hackney, in the East, we’ve gradually moved westwards, drawn to the historic heart of London where many of our most ambitious extensions and renovations now reside. With our office in Camden, we frequently find ourselves in Westminster, just a stone’s throw away by train or bus, exploring potential sites and drawing inspiration from this remarkable borough. Westminster is more than just a place of work for us—it’s where our architectural journey began and continues to flourish.

Despite our origins in Hackney, we’ve increasingly focused our efforts in Westminster, particularly over the past 2-3 years.

All of our projects in Westminster have involved properties located in conservation areas, with many also being listed buildings. From intricate renovations to thoughtful extensions, we’ve been instrumental in transforming these historic homes while preserving their unique character.

Annually, we undertake about 5-10 new projects throughout Westminster, building a reputation as a professional and thorough practice that balances design ingenuity with practical solutions. Our approach has also allowed us to forge strong relationships with local planners, builders, and other construction professionals within the borough, further enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional results in this prestigious area.
